This page provides access to a subset of output from the simulations described in Galbraith et al., 2016 and Brown and Galbraith, 2016. Also analyzed by McGee et al., 2018.

The output files here include 100-year averages of the freshwater-forced (fwr) vs. control (r) for the last century of the glacial hosing simulations (simulation years 5901-6000). Filenames indicate the glacial state (L180) followed by the obliquity and precession (22 or 24 degrees, and 270 or 90 degrees, respectively). See Galbraith and deLavergne, 2019 for further discussion of the baseline climate states.

Hosed glacial ocean (31 Gb)

Hosed glacial atmosphere (60 Gb)

Control glacial ocean (31 Gb)

Control glacial atmosphere (60 Gb)

In addition, an “unhosed” comparison from Brown and Galbraith (2016) is provided here. This file contains ocean and atmospheric average fields for two 100-year intervals, used as the ‘weak’ and ’strong’ AMOC periods in the paper.

Unhosed (6.4 Gb)
